Criticism of L-S betrays a visual bias. If all isn't accounted forM it is
discounted
From Anatomy of Criticism p. 15:
"Similarly each modern science has had to take what Bacon calls (though in
another context) an inductive leap, occupying a new vantage ground from
which it can see its former data as new things to be explained."
